teaching...

especially if there are people around...
teach me because you want me to learn...
because if it is something else...
i am learning to hate...

I! I! I!... oh no! U! U! U!

Under Windsor Bridge, 1912
by Adolphe Valette

it is kind of funny thinking about it.
and with a sarcastic smile while doing it...

i have thought after watching the news
that it is no different back home.

that when a project,
a plan,
an operation
is successful.
everyone who has anything to do with it
wants to claim the success.

but if it fails,
they have all their fingers ready
to point to one man to blame...

JRC,

in this times of chaos,
sadness, and confusion,
i have tested how much you love me...
enough to keep me going
and carry on...

shhhhhh....
you don't have  to make me promises...
i love you anyway.

in my opinion,
innocence
is when we see something
and interpret it
simply as how we know they exist.

when you reached a crossroad,
where do you think
you should go?

right?
left?
go back?
or just continue?

look up...
listen to yourself.
and follow
what your heart dictates...

life is of full of challenges...
it will never end.
take it!
the first step will be hard...
just embrace it.
because if you don't,
you will be stuck to where you are now...

God bless!
take care!

32 years and I still miss you

Today is my father's death anniversary...
yes, 32 years had gone by.
i was 10 years old then.

i still can remember
how punishments are done during our days.
but with all honesty,
i cannot remember any pain from those.
those are part of the person i am today.

all i know is how good
he is in providing everything that we need and want.
how he support us in everything we want to do.
how he protects us from everything
that could harm us.

and only if he is still here
i will never be ashame to say
that i would probably still
sit on his lap and cuddle.

i can still vividly
remember his face
so goodlooking.
his scent from working in the shop
from monday until friday
and the scent from a day of labor
in the farm on the weekends.

o tatay!
i love you...
and i miss you so much!

May the Lord Almighty
keep you in His Paradise.

Prayer For The Dead

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

failing does not mean
we are no longer allowed
to dream.

but this time
just be a little more cautious...

as the saying goes...
it is not wrong to fail
rather it is a big mistake not to try...
