Magpie #122

Puddle, 1952, M. C. Escher

It is also man's
curiosity that
broke human's innocence.

like adulterated forests...

Blessed Sunday Everyone!
Great week ahead!

and

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
to all daddies, papas, tatay
and also to all
women,
who became father after loosing a husband
a brother or a sister,
or any man or woman,
who in one way or another
have stood up as a father.

Mag 121

Still Life, 1670, detail by Jean Francois de Le Motte

i used to be
one of those
that keeps old letters,
old tokens,
old notebooks.
old pictures,
to keep me reminded
of the past.

but...
i just realized
keeping some of them
is holding me back
to things that are already
behind me.

things that I myself
do not wish to have back.

thus keeping them
makes it hard for me
to move forward
with open heart
and mind.

and then
i decided it is the right time,
(oh believe me
it is so difficult)
to let go of some of them
and just take with me
the best ones and
the lessons learned
from the unpleasant ones.

ahhh...
such a great feeling.
chest is so light...
