I must agree that
Sometimes we need to wear a mask
To get away of shame
Get a little courage
And borrow a little strength,
And just do what we
Wanna do..
Or wear a mask
To simply forget who we
Really are.
A temporary escape.
A dark big sunglasses for some.
Or wear a mask
To hide our fears when trying to get some fun
Those naughty and silly fun
That fear of getting noticed or recognized.
But all these are just but temporary,
At the end of the day
We need to be who we are...
For reality will bring us
To where and what we wanna be...
Anyways, pretending is not healthy...

Wise words and well done Magpie! I love how you've titled this poem as a play on the concept!
