F R I E N D S

this is a broken record:

"good friends" are everywhere.
they are most visible and oftentimes around
when they need you.
but when problems arise
or truth comes out,
they are gone.
this is when
"real friends" stay,
gives a sincere tight hug,
no words,
no judgement
but compassion.

you do not have the latter,
if at times of trouble or chaos,
you find yourself standing alone;
or cannot have the latter,
if one of  you is untruthful.

even in families,
you can see
bad or real friends.
