doubt

Vettriano, Jack, Yesterday's Dreams

again and again
i am always on that
bedroom window waiting...

waiting
with no assurance.
if you are still coming back.

'til this morning
with a long sigh
i decided,
no more to this.

and with a little smile
i went back to bed.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

if doubt  is stronger
than your love for each other,
there is no reason
to keep it...
