Is It Right?

is it right
to show on tv
how housewives fight
over crap at home,
question each other's profession,
how they raise their children,
how they manage their household;
how they interact with their husbands;
as how we see it in
the "real housewives of whatever?"

is it appropriate
to see how chaotic a family is,
how terrible their children are,
especially,
ladies or women as we know them,
the way they act,
think,
fight,
spend so much money
despite the thought that the world is starving
as how we hear and see
that family "Gaddamitshian"?

is it the best
to show our viewers
especially the children
that fighting back,
revenge,
and guns
are just like toys?
not mentioning
computer games...

is this the kind
of world we wanna see
in the future?!.....

no wonder
there are a lot of chaos.

God help us!
spare our children from this...

to do the things he knew I can.

and have guided me since day 1.

A very kind man

who not only welcomed me into his life

but introduced me to his wonderful family

and very kindhearted friends.

I will cherish that day

Pretending to be home doing his laundry
JC showed up surprisingly while
I am doing my grocery shopping.
Never minding the two hours drive
and just a mere two and a half hour time with me
then back home
just to make me happy after being sad
and sick yesterday.
And gave me a beautiful potted plant.
And on his way home sent me this poem:

The Potted Plants

Tropicals
signify our hot,
steamy passion;
Flowering plant,
signify the beauty of our love;
Green leaves,
eminate our healthy strong feelings;
The roots,
to remind us
how well grounded
we need to be;
The soil,
to show us we need
friends and families
to support us our lives through;
The fragile nature,
to keep us mindful of how
we must take tender
loving care
of each other.

The Easter morning has always been

a big thing for us Filipinos.

Hopefully up to now.

But for sure, with Roxasians

(our town is called Roxas, 

after the late Pres. Manuel Roxas)

and the parishioners of

St. Isidore, the farmer parish

it is still the best for the easter celebration
after the "Risen Christ!."

Kids are dressed up like angels.

Little boys and little girls alike.

A long month of singing practice

for these so willing innocents.

On the early Sunday morning

the are all ready with 

their angel like white clothes,

their delicately made angel wings,

their angelic voices

continuously singing to wake

the town and

commemorate the

meeting of the risen Christ

and His mother Mary.

The whole town,

Catholics and non-Catholics

get up early at 4 o'clock in the morning 

to witness and

hear these little children sing

and praise the Lord...

the procession will end at the Main Church of the town

where the Easter egg hunting

for the kids ending the morning celebrations.
