Glass and Mirrors

Mirrors

Direction
To keep you in the right track.
To keep you safe.

Reflection

may give you a realization
of yourself
and things around you...
evaluate,
assess and reassess,
then think and decide.

Glass
maybe a beauty
may it be plain or designed;
but even not broken
it is a danger.

  6. Thank you for stopping by my kitchen (yes, it's messy as always)! Glass is such a powerful metaphor. So many ways it can splinter and illuminate. A really interesting approach to this image.

  20. I like the cyclical nature of your trilogy, with "glass" possibly having a double meaning, taking us back to the idea of looking-glass and mirror.
    Good take on the prompt, your poems pick up on the multiplicity of images in the photo!
